Usage Area
Okzan Oral Tablet is effective against adults, larvae and eggs of gastrointestinal and lung pinworms of cattle and sheep, adults of liver flukes and Moniezia sp. It is used as an anthelmintic in the treatment and protection of adults. With the ovicid effect it provides to the eggs of helminths, it prevents the contamination of pastures with parasite eggs.
a) Liver butterflies
Fasciola hepatica, Fasciola gigantica (adult).
b) Stomach – intestinal pinworms
-Stomach pinworms: Ostertagia (including inhibited larvae) sp., Haemonchus sp., Trichostrongylus axsi,
-Small intestinal worms: Trichostrongylus sp., Nematodirus sp., Cooperia sp. (including inhibited larvae), Bunostomum sp.
-Large intestinal worms: Chabertia sp., Trichuris sp., Oesophagostomum sp.
c) Lung worms: Dictyocaulus sp. (to adult and larval forms)
d) Strips: It is effective against Moniezia sp.
Usage and Dosage
Unless recommended otherwise by the veterinarian; cattle, sheep, lambs, calves and calves with 5 mg/kg bw oxfendazole and 15 mg/kg bw oxyclozanide;
Lambs are given half a tablet per 25 kg, sheep are given 1 tablet per 50 kg, calves and calves are given 2 tablets per 100 kg, and cattle are given 10 tablets per 500 kg.
The tablets can be easily divided into two halves by the notch in the middle.
Oxane tablets are swallowed like conventional tablets. It can also be dissolved in water and drunk with a bottle.
